For Sellers
Consignment Period
- Duration: The consignment period starts at 30 days and can be extended for up to 120 days.
- Start date: Please allow us up to 30 days to process your items and post them on our website.
Pricing and Payout
- Item Pricing: By default, we set the prices for all items. If you prefer to set your own prices, please email us through the website with a list of item names and your desired prices.
- Earnings: Your payout is based on the final sale price of your items, excluding GST.
- First 30 Days: You will earn 70% of the sale price.
- After 30 Days: Once the initial 30-day period concludes, you have the following options:
- Extended Listing: For a $5 flat fee per item, you may extend the listing for an additional 90 days with the same payout rate.
- Retrieve Items: You can collect your unsold items within an additional 14 days at no cost. Alternatively, we can return them to you for a $5 fee per item, plus shipping costs.
- Transfer of Ownership: Unclaimed items will become the property of Bestt and may be used for charitable donations, community events, bulk or regular resale.
- Value-Based Earnings: Processing lower-value items involves similar effort as higher-value items, resulting in higher earnings for more valuable items.
Accepted Items
- Criteria: We welcome clothing and handbags from all genders, including apparel traditionally categorized as women’s and men’s wear, provided they have original brand and size labels (price tags are not required).
Condition Requirements
- Condition: Items must be in pristine condition—free from damage, stains, odors, or pet hair. Please clean your items thoroughly before sending them to us.
- Unaccepted Items: We do not accept items that are poor in condition, dirty, smelly, lacking labels, or have pet hair. Items in these conditions will be rejected.
Prohibited Categories
- We do not accept:
- Items from fast fashion or value chain stores (see specific list below)
- Underwear, tights, tank tops
- Swimwear
- Sleepwear
- Jewelry
- Perfumes and makeup
- Homemade or altered items
- Baby and children's clothing
- Non-clothing items such as toys, books, electronics, etc.
- Counterfeit or illegally obtained items, including those with trackers or sensors
- Clothing with references to specific teams or local institutions with limited appeal across Australia, such as work uniforms, local team jerseys, and school uniforms
- Note: Items not accepted will not be listed in our online store and are not eligible for payout. We may choose to donate, recycle, or sell them in bulk at our discretion.
- Shoes: will only be accepted if new.
Additional Notes
- Returns: We do not provide returns for unaccepted items.
- Luxury Items: We accept luxury brands, but they must come with authentication. For luxury consignment, consider stores specializing in high-end pieces.
- Decision Rights: We reserve the right to determine item acceptance. We do not offer feedback on why an item was rejected.
- Warranty: Since all items are second-hand and we are a small business, we cannot offer warranty for the items you sell through is and do not take responsibility for damage and or theft. Having said that, we are obligated to do everything in our power to keep your items safe at all times while under our care.

Shopping Experience and Returns
At our store, we are committed to providing you with an exceptional second-hand shopping experience. Each pre-loved item undergoes a thorough inspection before being listed for sale. We strive to present items as accurately as possible, including true-to-life color representation in our photos.
Returns Policy
- Return Requests: To request a return, please contact us within 7 calendar days of receiving your order. Items must be shipped back to us within 7 calendar days of receiving the return shipping label.
- Return Costs: A return fee of $20 per item will be applied to cover return shipping and handling costs.
- Final Sale Items: Handbags, accessories, and items priced at $20 or less are final sale and cannot be returned.
- International Orders: We are unable to accept returns for orders delivered to addresses outside of Australia.
- Change of Mind: We do not provide refunds for returns due to change of mind.
Return Requirements
- Condition: To be eligible for a refund, items must be returned in the same condition as received. For items labeled "New with Tags," the original tags must be attached.
- Shipping Charges: The original shipping fee is non-refundable when returning items.
- Refund Limits: Refunds are limited to the amount paid for the item. Discounts and promotional offers are not refundable.
- Non-Returnable Items: Items marked as final sale are not eligible for return.
